More Potty Talk

**Note to reader:  If you don't like to hear about little kids poops, skip this blog post.**

Once we got home today, all of the girls needed to have showers.  I decided to take Riley and Julia up to our bathroom to give them showers.  Usually I do one at a time and then they wrap up in a towel and stand watching the other one.  Super easy and fairly quick.  Today Julia wanted to go first.

So in she went.  Out she went.  Wrapped in towel.  Standing and watching Riley get shampooed and conditionered (ha!) and soaped up.  I see her tilt her head and start to really focus.  Looking somewhat off into the distance.

And I'm in the shower with Riley - halfway done with her hair - unable to get out quick enough.

Julia is standing with no diaper wrapped in her towel.  And going number 2 on the carpet.  She looks somewhat terrified as it's not going where she is used to it going.  And as soon as one hits the ground, she moves the towel and calls out "Oh Noooo!  Oh noooo!  It yucky!!!  Oh no!!"  And then number two falls down and she turns to look at it "Oh noooo!"

So I do Riley as quick as possible.  Riley gets her towel around her and is laughing at Julia standing next to the poo with the towel at her feet.  Riley tells me she is about to pee on herself to which I quickly reply "Oh please don't!  Go sit on the potty please.  Please!!"  I clean up Julia's poop and show her that it goes in the potty - thinking that maybe she'll understand that potty training is really the answer and that if she can poop in the potty, she won't need diapers or floors or anything else.  Really I just showed her the poo going down the toilet and said "Look!  There it goes!"  Nothing scientific or thought-provoking in that.

Took Jules back in the shower for a bit and cleaned her up that way.  Was the easiest way to do it.  Both girls were dressed, hair brushed and we went downstairs to meet Jeremy, who had just gotten home.  He missed it.  I'm sure he was sad.  ;)
